Design of the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is consistent like its predecessors, showcasing modern and minimalist aesthetic. I got a chance to test during IFA 2024 and my opinions are very much positive about Samsung Galaxy Book5.
It is clearly light-weight having almost 1.69 KG with 16 inch AMOLED Display having 2880×1800 pixels (WQXGA) and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Comparatively Galaxy Book4 Pro, the screen is super responsive and anti-reflective so you can use it in outdoor environment without any disturbance.

Being a technical person, after analyzing couple of hours, I found the rotation hinge of GalaxyBook5 Pro 360 more durable to handle versatile usage modes. Whether you’re sketching with the included S Pen or watching movies, the hinge provides flexibility. Not amazed with the keyboard and mousepad as they are same as spacious like Galaxy Book4 Pro.

Intel Corporation is heavely investing in their Chipsets and GPU’s to meet the demand of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
Lunar Lake makes this Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 not just a device for everyday tasks but also a future ready machine capable to do complex tasks. Book5 Pro comes with 16 GB LPDDR5X and 1 TB NVMe. Whether you are editing photos, videos or playing games then these specifications will not let you down. Although some of AAA title games may not work best due to not having dedicated GPU but still works fine on games like Fortnite, Starfield or XDefiant.
Samsung claims a whopping 25 hours of video playback on a single charge, which is paired with fast charging technology. It comes with 76Wh battery can be topped up to 35% in just 30 minutes, allowing for substantial use throughout the day without interruptions. But during my hand-on experience. I am not fully confident about Samsung’s claim but still it was good as I got 9% drop in 40 mins of heavy usage with full brightness.
Ports and Connectivity Upgrades
During my time with the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, I was very impressed with the diversity of the ports. Whether you use it for work or entertainment, Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro has Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, USB-A and a microSD slot, so you can connect a lot of peripherals without using any extra accessories.
