Design and Build Quality of This Gigabyte Gaming Beast

Initially when I unboxed the Gigabyte G6 KF, my first impression was mainly on build quality that Gigabyte have priovided in form of sleek-black chassis with a mecha pattern design which gives it a very unique and trendy gaming asthetics. Being a gamer or creative professional, you need a big screen and Gigabyte have fullfilled this wish of you with 16 inch FHD display.

There is a slight upgrade in touchpad, which is (15x9cm) 59% larger as compared to Gigabyte 15-inch Laptop and again I would admire the mecha textured pattern on its left. Similarly you get an improved Gigabyte’s WINDFORCE Cooling System that have two 59 blade fans with four heat pipes and four exhaust vents which is idle for high-load gaming and high-end video rendering.

Main Highlights of Gigabyte G6 KF

Combination of Intel Core i7-13620H and RTX 4060 GPU

Gigabyte is well known for its gaming components, and by continuing its legacy, creators have equipped this laptop with Intel Core i7-13620H processor having 10-Cores and 16-Threads that have a very impressive Max Turbo frequency with Performance-Core is 4.90 Ghz and Efficiency-Core is 3.60 Ghz. Plus you get an amazing Graphical support of NVIDIA Geforce RTX 4060, which is also a beast in itself having 8GB DDR6 vram that are enough for executing AAA title game like Call of Duty Black Ops 6 or Black Myth: Wukong.

G6 KF Screen Size, Display and Audio Quality

In Gigabyte G6 KF 2024 edition, you will get 16-inch diagnally FHD Screen with smooth 165 Hz refresh rate. But main flaw which I observed is that, display is bright but have 46.7% of the DCI-P3 color gamut due to this, display is not as vibrant as per my expectations. This less vivid visual experience is not good for professional creators who are reliant on color accuracy but for gaming, it is good.

Despite featuring DTS Ultra technology, the bottom-firing speakers produce hollow audio, lacking depth and richness. This may detract from the immersive gaming experience that’s why I would prefer earphones more,

Keyboard and Touchpad

Talking about keyboard! then there is a good news for you as you get Full-Size Keyboard with Numeric keypad and 15-Zone Color Changing RGB backlit that give this laptop a more gamer’s vibe. When I typed, the experience was literally good due to 2.0 mm depth of keys so whenever I press any key, it feels smooth whereas Touchpad have a plastic surface so that introduces some resistance and area touchpad is 3.7 x 6.1 inches that is bit larger then previous generations.
